Time to discuss the transition plan for CJ verifications and how that's gonna play out with Burgershot.
Right now, there is a verified role that locks access to certain areas of the discord. The question is, do we want to continue doing this barrier-to-entry style locking off or shall we just open the entire discord (minus "respected", I'll get to that after) to the public and leave "verified" as just a colour and maybe access to commands?
Then, ramp up moderation a bit to keep the public area a bit less toxic.
And, regarding "respected", I think one of the angry posts on the SA:MP forum actually did have a good point: segregating our userbase into "respected" and "other" is a _tad_ hierarchical and may not be condusive to a "welcoming" community. So I propose we simply rename "respected" to "member" (or maybe something better, if anyone has suggestions). We can still keep the same process and group of people in the group, but just help adjust the narrative around the whole "ivory tower" type thing that may emerge from it without pandering too much to the vocal minority.
Thoughts?
